Key Responsibilities
- Provide a range of laundry services for both residents’ personal laundry as well as laundry for the Aged Care Facility, ensuring everything is handled with care and returned promptly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships within our team, with our customers, and with family members, creating a warm, welcoming environment.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our residents safe at all times.
- Provide meaningful experiences which enable our residents to thrive, contributing to their overall wellbeing and quality of life.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and return laundry accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in laundry areas, following all infection control procedures.
- Communicate kindly and respectfully with residents, addressing any concerns they may have about their personal clothing.
- Work as part of a supportive team, helping colleagues and sharing the workload.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies, making safety a priority in every task.
Qualifications

Experience working within a laundry service is highly regarded but not required—the right attitude matters most. You must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 as required for aged care workers. You must have an NDIS Worker Check or be willing to obtain one. Reliability and punctuality are essential; residents depend on consistent service.
