As we continue to grow our presence in the NZ market, we are expanding our Tronics Division and seeking a customer-focused Technical Sales Representative to drive market growth across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty territory, based in Hamilton. You will take commercial ownership of revenue, margin, and forecasting across your portfolio, providing technical expertise and consultative support to help customers maximise value from our Videojet Coding & Marking solutions and Tronics label applicators. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and convert new business opportunities to achieve sales growth targets across your Waikato and BOP territory.
- Expand wallet share within existing accounts while strengthening long-term customer relationships through exceptional service and responsiveness.
- Build trusted partnerships by developing a deep understanding of customer operations and providing consultative support.
- Take commercial ownership of revenue, margin, and forecasting across your portfolio, driving profitability and growth.
- Provide technical expertise and consultative support to help customers maximise value from Videojet Coding & Marking solutions and Tronics label applicators.
- Work closely with service and operations teams to ensure seamless customer delivery and satisfaction.
- Maintain a strong hunter mindset while nurturing and growing established accounts.
- Operate autonomously across your territory, managing your time and priorities effectively.
- Travel occasionally as required to meet customer needs and support business objectives.
- Represent Aldus professionally at all times, building the company’s reputation for excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven success in technical or solution-based sales, ideally within coding, marking, packaging, printing, automation, or capital equipment industries.
- A strong hunter mindset with the ability to nurture and grow established accounts simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, strategic, and results-driven with a genuine focus on customer outcomes.
- Comfortable working autonomously across a national territory, managing your own schedule and priorities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Full, clean NZ driver’s licence required.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
- A commitment to building long-term partnerships and delivering measurable results.
