We are currently seeking an exceptional Customer Service/Warehouse Associate to join our TEAM. This unique role combines customer account management in a call center environment with material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading material, pulling and assembling customer orders, and inventory checks. We are excited to offer a $750 sign-on bonus for this external position, paid in installments upon start date, after 90 days, and after 180 days. Key Responsibilities
Primary Objective:
- Ensure effective and efficient coordination between the Company and its customers with a high level of service and support.
- Process sales orders and resolve customer product or service issues.
Primary Functions:
- Provide customer account management in a call center environment, including order entry, order inquiry, product information, order status, pricing, stock check, and transportation management.
- Provide customer service for a high volume of inbound calls using ACD (Automated Call Distribution).
- Key in orders, process faxes, and prepare reports accurately and efficiently.
- Interface with various groups including internal teams and SSCs to address customer inquiries and order issues from order entry to order delivery.
- Service walk-in customers, completing sales transactions with a professional, helpful attitude.
- Perform material handling duties such as receiving, loading and unloading material, pulling and assembling customer orders, and conducting inventory checks.
- Operate forklift and crane equipment daily as required.
- Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
- Walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
- Sit, climb, balance, talk, or hear.
- Regularly lift up to 15-30 lbs; at certain times, safely lift up to 70 lbs.
- Tile boxes or other material longer than 36 inches or more than 70 lbs. require a team lift.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications
Experience and Knowledge Required:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
- 3+ years of call center or customer service experience required.
- Focus on customer account management preferred.
Competencies:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization.
- Good voice quality that is conversational and professional.
- Ability to interpret and follow oral and written instructions, policies, guidelines, and processing standards.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal relationship-building skills.
- Moderate level of computer skills in Word and Excel.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and manage time effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
