Geneva Wellbeing, part of the NZ Health Group, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Therapist to join their Palmerston North team on a contracting basis. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored rehabilitation plans for children and adults in community settings
- Deliver therapy programs in clients’ homes, workplaces, or community venues, adapting approaches to individual needs
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and whanau to support holistic care
- Manage ACC contracts and maintain accurate, timely documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes
- Provide paediatric services where required and demonstrate competency across diverse client groups
- Travel independently within the Palmerston North region to visit clients
- Uphold professional standards and contribute to a best-practice, person-centered approach to rehabilitation
Qualifications
- Current NZ Registration as a Speech Language Therapist with a valid APC
- Minimum of two years post-graduate NZ experience, including community-based rehabilitation
- Proven contracting experience delivering services under ACC contracts
- Paediatric experience is highly advantageous
- Strong communication, documentation, and IT skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Understanding of, and commitment to, Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Full clean NZ driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
