Key Responsibilities
- Carry out assembly and pre-delivery inspections of new agricultural equipment
- Perform a full range of mechanical service work, including scheduled servicing, diagnostics, rebuilds, and breakdown repairs
- Work across orchard and vineyard tractor and accessory product ranges, developing technical expertise
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers throughout the lifecycle of their machinery
- Support the service team in process improvements and best-practice initiatives
- Mentor and assist junior technicians and apprentices, sharing technical knowledge and skills
- Participate in regular local and national training programs to enhance technical abilities and industry knowledge
Qualifications
- Relevant mechanical or agricultural machinery qualifications or proven industry experience
- Strong practical skills across diagnostics, repair, and mechanical servicing
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Enthusiasm for ongoing learning and technical development
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Willingness to work on-site in Hawkes Bay and travel locally as needed
