Key Responsibilities
As the COO, you will be the strategic and operational helm of the company, responsible for:
- Setting and executing the overall corporate strategy to balance near-term operational execution with long-term technology and market expansion.
- Overseeing company-wide resource allocation to ensure optimal efficiency across R&D, operations, and commercialization.
- Leading and fostering collaboration between cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, operations, and external partners.
- Providing strategic technical guidance on complex semiconductor materials, processes, and electrochemical technologies to drive innovation.
- Maintaining transparent and effective communication with all key stakeholders: customers, partners, investors, and government entities.
- Ensuring high standards of operational efficiency, project delivery timelines, and customer satisfaction.
- Representing the company at high-level industry, academic, and strategic forums to enhance our market position and partnerships.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with a unique blend of technical depth and executive acumen:
- A PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the semiconductor, energy, or advanced materials sectors, with significant exposure to both academia and industry.
- At least 5 years in leadership-management roles with direct responsibility for guiding technical teams and strategic decision-making.
- A strong, hands-on technical background in semiconductor processes, materials, and related technologies.
- A proven ability to lead R&D teams and successfully translate advanced research into commercial, application-driven solutions.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments (e.g., foundry, process engineering) is a strong advantage.
- Prior experience in a startup or technology spin-off environment is a significant plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
