Key Responsibilities
As an Airport Cargo Packer, your precision and efficiency are essential for smooth operations. Your daily tasks will include:
- Sorting, checking, and verifying incoming and outgoing air cargo against shipping documents to ensure complete accuracy.
- Professionally packing, reinforcing, and labeling goods according to strict international air transportation standards to prevent damage during transit.
- Safely operating packing equipment and tools such as stretch wrap machines, box sealers, and manual pallet jacks.
- Working closely with the team to meet strict airline and cargo agent deadlines for flight departures.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working area in full compliance with all airport security and safety regulations.
Qualifications
We are looking for reliable and diligent individuals with the following attributes:
- A secondary school diploma or equivalent, with basic proficiency in reading and writing Chinese to understand cargo documents.
- Good physical fitness for lifting, moving cargo, and standing for extended periods. The role involves shift work, including potential night shifts.
- A meticulous and responsible work ethic, strong attention to detail, and excellent teamwork skills.
- Prior experience in airport ground handling, warehousing, or logistics is advantageous but not required we provide full on-the-job training.
- Must be able to pass an airport security background check and hold a valid Hong Kong Identity Card, proving the legal right to work in Hong Kong.
