Allcare Distribution is creating a brand new Service Technician position to lead our in-house service department across our growing Medical and Sports divisions. This is a unique, hands-on opportunity for a practical problem-solver who enjoys real ownership and variety. You’ll be the expert servicing everything from allied medical equipment to electric golf buggies. If you’re a self-starter who wants to learn, grow, and shape a key part of our business for the long term, this is your chance to build a rewarding career.
Company Overview
Allcare Distribution Limited is a dynamic company operating across two exciting divisions: Medical and Sports. We are a trusted supplier of allied medical equipment to healthcare professionals and a leading provider of sports and golf equipment, including buggies. We are a growing business that values initiative and collaboration. This newly created role is a testament to our growth and our commitment to providing outstanding after-sales service, offering the right person a fantastic opportunity to make their mark.
Key Responsibilities
As our inaugural Service Technician, you will have complete ownership of the service function. Your core duties will be diverse and impactful:
- Servicing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including allied medical devices, electric-manual golf buggies, and various electrical-mechanical products.
- Diagnosing faults accurately and managing service jobs from start to finish, including maintaining clear service records.
- Establishing and managing all spare parts inventory, including ordering, stock control, warehousing, and dispatch.
- Working closely with our sales and customer service teams to ensure excellent outcomes for our clients.
- Helping to design, establish, and continuously improve service processes and workflows as this new department grows.
Qualifications
We are looking for the right person, not just a specific resume. The ideal candidate will bring:
- A strong natural aptitude for mechanical and/or electrical work, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work autonomously, manage your own workload, and take real ownership of the service function.
- A proactive, reliable, and highly organised approach with clear communication skills.
- A positive, team-first attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for learning new skills across diverse product ranges.
- While experience in medical equipment, mobility aids, mechanical servicing, or parts management is helpful, it is not essential—full product training will be provided.
Benefits and Perks
This is a foundational role with significant growth potential. We offer:
- A competitive salary 24$ based on your experience.
- The unique opportunity to be the first Service Technician, with real responsibility and the chance to build and lead a department as we grow.
- Full, comprehensive training across our entire Medical and Sports product range, with ongoing support.
- Incredible variety in your daily work no two days will be the same.
- Exposure to two diverse, growing industries within one supportive, dynamic company.
- A clear pathway for long-term career development and professional growth.
