Key Responsibilities

Your specific duties will depend on your department, but every role shares a common goal: delivering great service.

  • Provide friendly, efficient, and helpful customer service, always keeping the shopper’s experience at the forefront of your mind.
  • Ensure your department is well-stocked, neatly presented, and inviting, paying close attention to product freshness and display.
  • Handle products with care, which includes safe manual handling of items (up to 20kg), following all health, safety, and food compliance procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with your team to complete tasks efficiently, maintain cleanliness, and support daily store operations.
  • Operate store technology relevant to your role, such as checkout systems, online order devices, or department-specific equipment.

Qualifications

We’re looking for team players who bring a great attitude and a willingness to learn.

  • A genuine ‘customer-first’ mindset and a friendly, approachable manner.
  • Strong reliability, honesty, and excellent time management we count on our team to be punctual and committed.
  • An eye for detail and presentation, whether you’re arranging a deli counter or packing an online order.
  • The physical fitness to be on your feet for your shift and to safely handle stock as required.
  • The flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, as part of a roster.
  • No specific experience is necessary for many roles we provide full training for the right people.
