Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for providing thorough and respectful cleaning services. Your duties will include:
- Performing a full range of cleaning tasks: dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing all surfaces.
- Deep cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, including appliances, counters, cabinets, toilets, showers, and sinks.
- Emptying trash, cleaning windows, and handling all furniture and client belongings with the utmost care.
- Making beds and doing laundry as required by specific client assignments.
- Working effectively as part of a 2 or 3-person team to complete jobs efficiently and to our high standards.
- Using all cleaning products and equipment properly and safely (training provided).
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who embody our values and possess the following:

- A genuine liking for cleaning and a meticulous, detail-oriented approach.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or Portuguese is required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to follow directions well, learn quickly, and collaborate effectively in a team.
- Flexibility and a positive, professional attitude.
- A high school diploma is preferred but not mandatory. A driver’s licence is a plus.
- Must be able to relocate to or reside in the Gardendale, AL 35071 area before starting work.
Benefits and Perks
This part-time role offers a structured compensation package and supportive benefits:
- An hourly wage starting at $16.00-hr during the 4-week probation period, with potential increase to $16.00 – $18.00/hr based on performance.
- Paid overtime at 1.5 times the rate for hours over 40 per week.
- Paid holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving, July 4th) after one year of service.
- Uniforms provided at no cost and mileage reimbursement available.
- Expected weekly hours: 5 – 20.
- Day shift schedule (preferred).
