Key Responsibilities
As a Cleaner, you will perform a variety of essential tasks to maintain our client’s facility to the highest standard. Your duties will include:
- Sweeping, mopping, and washing floors and other interior surfaces.
- Operating commercial floor equipment such as buffers and shampoo machines.
- Vacuuming carpets and spot-cleaning rugs in offices and public areas using a backpack vacuum.
- Detailed dusting of furniture, fixtures, door trim, and all horizontal surfaces, including periodic high dusting.
- Cleaning interior glass, windowsills, and entrance doors.
- Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms daily, restocking all paper and soap supplies.
- Collecting building trash, replacing liners, and ensuring proper disposal.
- Performing seasonal tasks like clearing light snow from entrances and walkways.
- Monitoring and reporting any maintenance defects or issues to your supervisor.
Qualifications
We are looking for motivated individuals with the right attitude. The ideal candidate will have:
- The ability to follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering excellent, consistent service.
- Good physical stamina and endurance to handle cleaning tasks and use equipment like backpack vacuums.
- Willingness to learn and properly use cleaning tools, chemicals, and machinery.
- A reliable, organized, and energetic work ethic.
