Key Responsibilities
In this hands-on role, you will be the face of our company on-site, entrusted with delivering quality and safety every day. Your core duties will include:
- Performing scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on plumbing and gas systems at various commercial and government facilities across the region.
- Installing new plumbing fixtures, gas appliances, and related systems in accordance with all relevant codes and standards.
- Troubleshooting and servicing a wide range of equipment, including hot water systems, filtration units, heaters, thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs), and backflow prevention devices.
- Providing clear, expert advice to clients, helping them understand the work required and the solutions you provide.
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest possible standard of safety, quality, and compliance.
- Accurately completing job documentation, service reports, and compliance certificates in a timely manner.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a solid foundation of experience and the right personal approach. The essentials we are looking for are:
- Proven experience as a qualified Plumber and Gas Fitter, with all relevant and current licenses for Western Australia.
- A strong, practical knowledge of plumbing and gas systems, appliances, and the latest Australian compliance standards.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset that spots potential issues before they escalate.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Exceptional organisational habits and the ability to manage your own schedule effectively to meet deadlines.
- An unwavering commitment to workplace safety, honesty, and taking pride in every job you complete.
