Key Responsibilities
As a Painter, you’ll be responsible for achieving the desired aesthetic and protective qualities of Crusoe’s products.
- Painting Operations: Operate a spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or manufactured products. May paint by hand when needed.
- Paint Preparation: Mix paints and other solutions according to specifications.
- Finishing Processes: Complete finishing with baking, polishing, or other materials as required.
- Quality Control: Monitor drying processes to ensure desired results and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Schedule
- Hours: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM (2nd shift)
Qualifications and Experience
We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the physical capability to perform precision work in a production environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: 1+ years of general work experience.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull merchandise up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily. Constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back required.
- Safety Compliance: This is a safety-sensitive position located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required.
- Respirator Medical Evaluation: As a condition of employment, applicants who receive a job offer must submit to a medical evaluation to confirm their ability to wear a respirator.
- Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, team player willing to take on additional roles, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.

- Apprenticeship and/or formal training in production painting.

Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $19 – $27 per hour, plus bonus
- Shift Differential: 10% additional for 2nd shift
- Restricted Stock Units: Included in all offers
- Total Compensation: Determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data
