In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our raw materials inventory through precise cycle counting and investigative problem-solving. About the Role
Intuitive is a pioneer in robotic-assisted, minimally invasive care. This position plays a vital role in supporting our production by ensuring inventory accuracy and procedural compliance. Please note: This role is initially based at our current location but will permanently transfer to our Gilroy, California facility after March 2026. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who values process and precision.
Your Key Responsibilities
You will be the frontline for inventory accuracy, conducting counts and resolving discrepancies.
- Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials inventory according to established procedures (DOP), aiming for a high level of record accuracy.
- Run inventory reports, locate items in the warehouse/production areas, and perform physical counts.
- Prepare cycle count reports, research discrepancies, and perform reconciliations to resolve inventory issues.
- Ensure strict compliance with all inventory control procedures and policies.
- Perform Batch Description (DB) via Variance Requests (VRs) and verify quantities of VRs performed by Changeover teams.
- Audit scrap material reported in the Material Transfer Form (MT) and assist with material purge activities.
- Separate scrap material as directed by the inventory analyst or supervisor.
- Adhere to and promote all ISI safety protocols within warehouse and production areas.
Qualifications for Success
We are looking for a proactive individual with strong analytical and procedural skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant certification a plus.
- Prior experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse operations within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in counting and data entry.
- Basic proficiency with computer systems and inventory management software (SAP experience is a significant advantage).
- Ability to read and interpret reports, investigate discrepancies, and follow detailed procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
- Must be able to work in a warehouse/production environment and adhere to all safety standards.
- Must be willing and able to relocate to the Gilroy, CA facility after March 2026.
