About the Role
As a Team Member at American Social, you’ll be at the heart of our guest experience. This role requires a commitment to late-night shifts and a dynamic blend of customer service, food running, and supporting both front and back-of-house operations. We provide the training; you bring the enthusiasm, teamwork, and drive to uphold our high standards in a fun, supportive environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
You’ll wear many hats to ensure our guests have an exceptional visit, from start to finish.
- Provide outstanding, engaging customer service with a positive attitude at all times.
- Confidently describe and promote menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Efficiently run food and beverages from the kitchen/bar to guest tables.
- Ensure all food meets high standards for presentation, temperature, and portioning before it leaves the kitchen.
- Reset tables quickly and thoroughly, and support overall restaurant maintenance by stocking supplies and keeping a clean, organized workspace.
- Work cohesively as part of a team, assisting in other areas as needed and supporting both front-of-house and back-of-house priorities.
- Follow all safety, service, and appearance standards set by management.
What You’ll Need to Join Our Team
We are looking for reliable individuals who meet the following requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability and willingness to work late-night shifts, potentially until 3:00 AM.
- A current, valid Alcohol Awareness Certification (e.g., ServSafe Alcohol, TIPS) is required. A food handling certificate is a plus.
- Must be fluent in English (speak, read, write).
- Ability to work with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in a high-energy environment.
- Physically able to lift and move items up to 50 lbs, bend, and remain standing/moving for extended periods.
- A team-player attitude, reliable, and able to work well under pressure.
Compensation and Details
- Compensation: Minimum Wage, plus tips.
