About Our Hotel
Nestled in the heart of Hong Kong’s financial and fashion district, The Landmark Mandarin Oriental is an intimate haven of luxury and sophisticated design. As we prepare for an exciting transformation in 2026, we continue to set the benchmark for legendary service. In this role, you will report to the Junior Sous Chef & Chef de Partie, assisting in the daily operations and production of exquisite pastry items that meet our exacting standards. You will be an integral part of a team dedicated to culinary excellence.
Your Key Responsibilities
You will be entrusted with upholding the meticulous standards of our award-winning pastry kitchen.
- Assist in the smooth and efficient daily operation of the pastry section, ensuring seamless production and service.
- Maintain impeccable organization, cleanliness, and hygiene of all refrigerators, workstations, and service areas.
- Prepare and produce a variety of pastry items, including desserts, breads, and petit fours, according to precise recipes and specifications.
- Foster excellent working relationships with other kitchen sections to coordinate workflow and ensure timely service.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct mise en place, and ensure proper storage and rotation of all ingredients.
- Uphold all safety and sanitation standards in compliance with hotel policies and local regulations.
- Perform additional duties as required by the department head to support the team’s objectives.

- Solid culinary experience gained within a luxury hotel or reputable high-end restaurant environment.
- A pleasant, self-motivated, and detail-oriented personality with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong foundational knowledge of pastry techniques, food & beverage operations, and menu planning.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of both spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese).
