Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be the go-to expert for complex electrical and electronic systems within our service team.
- Your primary responsibility will be diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical systems of vehicles, with a focus on Toyota, Kia, and Honda models.
- You will perform general servicing while using advanced diagnostic tools to identify intricate technical and electronic faults.
- A key part of the job is identifying necessary additional work, providing clear explanations, and ensuring customers are fully informed.
- You will complete all work within manufacturer-recommended repair times while adhering strictly to our high retail quality standards.
- Ensuring every job on the repair order is finished to the highest standard, on time, and meets the specific needs of the customer is essential.
Qualifications
We are looking for a certified and highly skilled auto electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will have:
- A current and valid Auto Electrician trade qualification. A Motor Mechanic certificate may be considered if paired with extensive proven auto electrical experience.
- Specific, hands-on professional experience diagnosing and repairing electrical systems in Toyota, Kia, or Honda vehicles. This specialist knowledge is crucial.
- A current driver’s licence.
- A proven reputation for reliability, a strong work ethic, and meticulous attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively both independently on complex diagnostics and collaboratively as part of our service team.
