Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the Housekeeping team, ensuring all daily tasks are completed to the highest standards.
- Work closely with the Executive Housekeeper to coordinate operations and implement department policies and procedures.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet hotel standards.
- Train, mentor, and develop housekeeping staff, providing feedback and guidance to improve performance.
- Schedule and deploy housekeeping staff effectively to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
- Monitor inventory of linens, uniforms, and cleaning supplies, ordering replenishments as needed.
- Respond to guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular meetings with housekeeping staff to communicate goals, updates, and feedback.
- Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with recruitment and selection of housekeeping staff as needed.
- Prepare reports and maintain records related to housekeeping operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the department.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar supervisory role within housekeeping is advantageous.
- A certificate or degree in Housekeeping or Hotel studies is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese) are essential.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive work environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
