Key Responsibilities

  • Provide essential home cleaning services for NDIS participants, creating a hygienic and comfortable living environment
  • Perform thorough cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and emptying bins according to individual participant needs
  • Follow established safety and infection control procedures to maintain a hazard free environment in every home visited

Qualifications

To be considered for this role you must be based in the local Gold Coast area and hold a current Australian driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle. A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Blue Card, and current National Police Check are required or you must be willing to obtain them. You will need a smartphone with data access for online rostering requirements and the physical ability to safely perform manual cleaning duties. Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning is highly regarded, along with a Certificate II or III in Cleaning Operations and formal infection control training.
