Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including filling cracks, sanding, and cleaning.
- Select appropriate paints, primers, and sealants for different materials and surfaces.
- Apply paints, varnishes, and sealants using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to achieve smooth, professional finishes.
- Cover and protect surfaces and objects that are not being painted.
- Mix paints accurately to achieve desired colors and textures.
- Keep tools and work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Adapt to additional duties and tasks as they arise to support team objectives.
- Maintain high standards of quality, professionalism, and client service during every project.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands-on painting experience in residential and/or commercial settings.
- Strong attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions clearly and efficiently.
- Adaptable to changing tasks or responsibilities as required.
- Experience using a variety of painting tools and materials.
- WHMIS or other safety certifications preferred, but training can be provided.
