Key Responsibilities
- Assist with meal service including serving food drinks and snacks to residents
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen servery and dining areas following food safety standards
- Carry out scheduled cleaning tasks throughout the residential care centre
- Collect launder fold and return resident linen and personal laundry items
- Ensure laundry areas remain organised and equipment is used safely
- Support residents with menu selections when required
- Report hazards incidents or safety concerns to maintain a safe environment for staff and residents
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality cleaning laundry services or aged care environments preferred
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with residents and colleagues
- Caring respectful attitude when supporting elderly residents
- Good organisational and time management skills to manage multiple daily tasks
