Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal service including serving food drinks and snacks to residents
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen servery and dining areas following food safety standards
  • Carry out scheduled cleaning tasks throughout the residential care centre
  • Collect launder fold and return resident linen and personal laundry items
  • Ensure laundry areas remain organised and equipment is used safely
  • Support residents with menu selections when required
  • Report hazards incidents or safety concerns to maintain a safe environment for staff and residents

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality cleaning laundry services or aged care environments preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with residents and colleagues

  • Good organisational and time management skills to manage multiple daily tasks
