Key Responsibilities
On-site, you will be a key part of the project delivery, handling a variety of industrial electrical tasks. Your day-to-day work will involve:
- Installing new power and control cabling along with associated electrical containment systems.
- Upgrading and wiring motors, isolators, and control boards to specification.
- Working on pump installations and integrating new industrial systems.
- Performing terminations, glanding, and the installation of complete electrical setups.
- Accurately reporting on work completed and assisting with forward planning for upcoming tasks.
- Contributing to a team environment by assisting with general site duties as required to support project progress.
Qualifications
To be eligible for these positions, you must be able to meet and demonstrate the following:
- A current, unrestricted QLD Electrical Licence – this is mandatory.
- Essential tickets: Valid Construction White Card, LVR/CPR, and Senior First Aid.
- Proven, hands-on experience working on industrial construction sites is essential.
- You must currently live in Queensland, as Brisbane is the point of hire.
- Ability to successfully pass a full pre-employment medical assessment, including a LABDAS drug and alcohol screen.
- Own reliable transport, a driver’s licence, and your own basic hand tools.
The following are highly regarded and will strengthen your application:
- Working at Heights certification.
- EEHA (Hazardous Area) qualifications.
