Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our site crew, you will be tasked with delivering electrical work to the highest standards of safety and quality. Your role will involve:
- Performing electrical installations, terminations, and testing for a range of non-process infrastructure and construction projects.
- Working on camp upgrade and room refurbishment programs, ensuring all work meets specification and timeline requirements.
- Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting pump systems, de-watering setups, and other industrial electrical equipment.
- Collaborating with site supervisors and other trades to ensure seamless project progression.
- Strictly adhering to all site-specific safety protocols, JHA requirements, and quality assurance procedures.
- Completing all necessary job documentation and reporting with accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this site-based role, you must meet the following essential criteria:
- A current, unrestricted WA Electrical Licence (A-Grade).
- Valid and current LVR-CPR and Senior First Aid certifications.
- A Construction Induction White Card and a clean driving licence.
- Full, verifiable working rights in Australia (Passport/Visa).
- A current Rio Tinto SAP Number – Pegasus ID.
- You must currently reside in Western Australia, with the ability to mobilise from Perth.
The following tickets and experience are highly desirable and will strengthen your application:
- Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets (within their respective currency periods).
- A High-Risk Work Licence (e.g., WP, DG, CN).
- Recent Rio Tinto site experience and familiarisation with their systems.
