Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be an integral part of our commercial project teams, performing a wide range of electrical and support tasks to a high standard. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Performing rough-in and fit-off work for power, lighting, data, and communications systems across various commercial sites.
- Assisting with or leading switchboard upgrades and the replacement of existing lighting with modern, energy-efficient LED systems.
- Fabricating and installing cable support systems including tray, conduit, and ducting.
- Contributing to installations for security, CCTV, dry fire, and audio-visual (AV) systems.
- Working diligently and safely to project specifications and timelines, ensuring all work meets industry and safety standards.
- Maintaining a clean, organised work area and accurately completing any required job documentation.
Qualifications
To be successful in joining our team, you will need to meet the following essential criteria:
- For Electricians: A valid Australian or recognised overseas electrical license. For Trade Assistants: Demonstrable hands-on experience in a supporting electrical role.
- A minimum of three years of solid, post-qualification experience in commercial electrical work.
- A valid Construction Induction White Card (or equivalent).
- A strong, self-directed work ethic with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team on-site.
- Your own reliable hand tools and battery-powered drill kit.
- Own transport is highly preferred for getting to and from various site locations across Sydney.
