Here is an opportunity to join a valued interdisciplinary team as a Housekeeping Aide at Park Place Home. Under the direction of the Support Services Manager, you will perform general cleaning duties throughout the home, including Residents’ rooms, bathrooms, staff rooms, offices, and other areas as assigned. When assisting in laundry, you will collect, sort, launder, and return laundry to its source, following infection prevention and control guidelines and laundry equipment procedures. What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform general cleaning duties throughout the home, including Residents’ rooms, bathrooms, staff rooms, offices, and other assigned areas.
- When assisting in laundry, collect, sort, launder, and return laundry to its source, including Resident and site laundry.
- Follow infection prevention and control guidelines and laundry equipment procedures.
- Treat all Residents with dignity and respect in every interaction.
- Support the “culture of safety” as per Park Place Strategic Directions.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure a clean, safe environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Commitment to treating Residents with dignity and respect.
- Ability to follow infection prevention and control guidelines.
- Experience in housekeeping or laundry is an asset, but not required—training may be provided.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
- Physically capable of performing cleaning and laundry duties.
