Key Responsibilities

As a SATS Technician, you will be the face of our trusted service in the community. Your day will involve:

  • Independently traveling to residential rental properties across the Hamilton region to test, install, and maintain smoke alarms to strict legislative standards.
  • Working efficiently and unsupervised, managing your own daily schedule of appointments.
  • Being presentable, professional, and courteous in all customer interactions, as you are a key representative of our brand.
  • Safely climbing up and down ladders multiple times a day to access alarms.
  • Accurately using a phone or tablet to complete job reports and documentation on-site.
  • Being willing to travel and occasionally stay overnight as required for work in wider regions.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who embodies reliability and professionalism. The successful candidate will have:

  • The ability to work confidently and responsibly without direct supervision.
  • A full, clean manual driver’s licence.
  • A presentable appearance, good communication skills, and a genuine pride in doing an important job well.
  • Good physical fitness to comfortably handle ladder work and be on your feet all day.
  • A willingness to undergo a Police Check prior to employment.
  • Legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
