We are seeking a skilled Senior Technician to join our Building Facilities Team, where you will play a key role in ensuring the high-standard maintenance of Architectural, Builder Works, and Finishing (ABWF) as well as Plumbing & Drainage (P&D) systems. Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Technician, you will be entrusted with significant supervisory and technical duties:
- Conduct thorough inspections, checks, and verification of all maintenance activities related to ABWF and P and D systems carried out by contractors at stations and ancillary buildings.
- Supervise contractors on-site to ensure all work complies with specified safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Assist in the preparation and management of critical maintenance documentation, including reports on safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Act as the key liaison point between the company, maintenance contractors, station landlords, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and communication.
- Apply strong analytical skills to identify issues and develop practical solutions to maintenance challenges.
Qualifications
We are looking for a qualified professional with solid experience. The requirements are:
- A Higher Diploma – Higher Certificate in Building Studies or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in building maintenance or a related field, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential for success.
- Remark: Candidates with extensive and relevant experience who may hold a lower formal qualification will also be seriously considered for this role.
- Must be willing and able to perform shift duties and work on weekends and public holidays as required by operational needs.
