This is a key full-time role for a seasoned professional ready to oversee jobs from start to finish on stunning architectural homes. You will lead a small team, ensuring the highest quality is delivered across the beautiful Matakana, Omaha, and Pt Wells regions.

Key Responsibilities
In this leadership role, you will be responsible for the complete delivery of our projects, managing both the craft and the team. Your core duties will include:
- Overseeing and executing all surface preparation, including sanding, scraping, and priming, to ensure a perfect foundation.
- Applying premium paints, varnishes, and specialty coatings to interior and exterior surfaces with expert technique.
- Managing and performing detailed decorative work such as wallpaper hanging and applying custom finishes.
- Leading a small crew on-site, coordinating tasks, and ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient work environment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaising directly with clients and site managers to understand expectations, provide updates, and deliver results that exceed their vision.
- Maintaining an uncompromising standard of workmanship and attention to detail in every aspect of the job.
- Upholding and enforcing all company and industry health and safety protocols.
Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record and a professional mindset. The essentials for this role are:
- A minimum of six years of professional painting and decorating experience, with a strong preference for background in high-end residential projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of advanced techniques, premium materials, and professional-grade equipment.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team effectively on-site.
- The skill to read and accurately interpret architectural plans, sketches, and detailed instructions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage client relationships professionally.
- A reliable, hands-on work ethic, a team-oriented attitude, and a current, full driver’s licence.
