If you’re an industrial electrician who feels your skills and professional attitude deserve more recognition, this role is for you. BSE Australia is looking for switched-on, licensed electricians who want to move beyond just a job. We offer a career where your expertise is genuinely respected, your growth is actively supported, and your work is varied and challenging. Join a team that values doing quality work on meaningful projects across some of Australia’s most critical industrial sites.
Company Overview
BSE Australia is a specialist in industrial electrical and automation solutions. We partner with major names in food and beverage, fuel, manufacturing, and logistics to keep their complex operations running and evolving. Our reputation isn’t just built on technical skill, but on a culture of mutual respect, integrity, and a team-first mentality. We believe in hiring professionals and then giving them the trust, tools, and support they need to excel without being looked over their shoulder.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be the expert on the ground, trusted to handle a diverse range of tasks that keep our clients’ operations safe and efficient. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Performing fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs on industrial control systems, PLC panels, and automation equipment.
- Carrying out new installations, upgrades, and preventative maintenance in live processing and manufacturing environments.
- Interfacing directly with client site personnel and stakeholders, providing clear communication and a customer-first service approach.
- Reading and interpreting technical diagrams and documentation, or applying methodical problem-solving skills when documentation is limited.
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and electrical compliance, with pride taken in every install.
- Actively participating in a collaborative team environment to plan and execute project works efficiently.
Qualifications
We’re looking for a candidate who brings both the right tickets and the right mindset. The essentials are:
- A current, unrestricted NSW Electrical Licence.
- Solid, hands-on experience in industrial electrical work, including controls, within construction or live plant environments.
- A proven, uncompromising commitment to workplace safety.
- Strong fault-finding abilities and a practical understanding of industrial control systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
- A solution-oriented mindset, reliability, and a natural willingness to take ownership of your work.
Experience within food manufacturing, petrochemical, fuel terminals, or complex automation systems is highly regarded.
Benefits and Perks
At BSE Australia, we back our words with tangible rewards and a supportive environment designed for long-term careers:
- You are hired as a professional and treated as one from day one, with autonomy and trust.
- We actively support and fund nationally recognised training to help you specialise in areas like automation or hazardous areas, or step into leadership.
- Enjoy full-time, long-term employment on a diverse mix of projects, with ample overtime opportunities available.
- A highly competitive salary package that properly reflects your skills, attitude, and the value you bring to our team.
- A starting wage of $30 per hour.
- Become part of a close-knit, skilled crew that supports each other, shares knowledge, and maintains a positive, focused work environment.
