Key Responsibilities

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment at all pharmacy workstations including pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off
  • Support pharmacists in providing patient care, including assisting with immunizations, point-of-care testing, and answering medication-related inquiries
  • Prepare, label, and verify prescription information to ensure patient safety and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Manage inventory tasks such as receiving deliveries, stocking medications, conducting cycle counts, and returns-to-stock
  • Deliver compassionate customer service, responding to patient and colleague needs with empathy and professionalism
  • Observe and report any maintenance, safety, or workflow issues to pharmacy leadership
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Remain flexible to meet business needs, including voluntary travel to other stores within the market

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • Must comply with state board of pharmacy regulations regarding age, education, licensure, and certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or actively enrolled in a high school program if required by the state
  • Ability to complete pharmacy training and certification within required timeframes
  • Strong focus and attention to detail, including the ability to pivot between tasks efficiently
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and active listening ability
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs, remain mobile for extended periods, and perform repetitive hand and arm movements

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of pharmacy technician or healthcare-related experience
  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, or medical settings
  • Flexibility to work across multiple store locations as needed
