Key Responsibilities

  • Follow established procedures, processes, and policies to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment to transport materials within the facility.

Qualifications

Zero to one year of experience is required. Candidates must have the ability to operate or learn to operate material handling equipment. The ability to identify and resolve basic problems is important. Effective teamwork skills and the ability to work well with others are essential. Candidates must model positive and professional work ethics. Strong communication skills are required. Physical demands include the ability to stand and walk regularly, use hands to manipulate objects or controls, stoop, bend, and reach above the shoulders occasionally, and lift up to 25 to 50 pounds occasionally. Specific conditions include typical warehouse environments with periods of sitting, close vision, and ability to adjust focus for computer based work.
