Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will balance precision driving with active warehouse support. Your daily mission includes:
- Executing local and interstate trips (both in-state and out-of-state) to deliver products to warehouses and storage bins.
- Handling the daily loading and unloading of snack products, ensuring everything is properly secured on your truck.
- Performing rigorous pre- and post-trip DOT inspections and keeping your logbooks meticulously updated.
- When not on a route, assisting with warehouse operations to keep our Durham facility running like clockwork.
- Serving as the professional face of Wise Foods by securing customer signatures and maintaining a friendly, helpful demeanor.
- Capturing pre- and post-delivery photographs and down-stacking products at storage bins with total precision.
We are looking for an experienced road professional who takes pride in their driving record. To join our 2026 team, you must possess:
- Licensing: A valid CDL Class A license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is mandatory.
- Experience: At least 2 years of professional driving experience and a valid DOT Card held for a minimum of 2 years.
- Physical Stamina: The ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and handle the physical demands of loading and unloading daily.
- Integrity: Ability to pass all DOT physical requirements and a drug screening.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Soft Skills: Strong customer service skills and the ability to operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
