Key Responsibilities
As a Regional Roll-Off Driver, you will be entrusted with the safe and compliant transport of materials. Your primary duties are to:
- Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and procedures at all times.
- Safely operate a Class A roll-off truck to pick up waste from customer locations across the Baltimore, MD, and PA region.
- Properly load, unload, and secure hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials, adhering to all weight limits and regulations.
- Placard the vehicle in strict accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and company requirements.
- Maintain meticulous daily logs, vehicle inspection reports (DVIR), time sheets, and trip reports.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness and safety.
Qualifications
We are looking for a qualified professional who meets our high safety and compliance standards. To be eligible for this role, you must have:
- A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- A minimum of 12 months of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements on your CDL (required).
- The ability to pass a respirator fit test and pulmonary function test (PFT). To ensure a proper respirator seal, you must be clean-shaven or have a mustache only.
- Proficiency with mobile devices and basic computer software for logging and reporting.
- A clean driving record and a steadfast commitment to safety above all else.
