This is an active, physical role where you will be a critical member of the foodservice supply chain, picking orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community. You will operate an electric pallet jack and/or forklift, organizing and palletizing product to build customer orders. The work environment includes areas with temperature and humidity variations based on local weather conditions and the type of product being selected—non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen. If you are at least 18 years old, physically capable of lifting up to 100 pounds, and ready to work on your feet for 10 to 12 hours daily, this role offers a competitive compensation range of $10.00 to $48.00 per hour based on skills and experience, plus eligibility for the Company’s Incentive Plan.

Key Responsibilities
- Work in a Sysco warehouse as a critical member of the foodservice supply chain, ensuring orders are picked accurately and efficiently.
- Pick orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community, selecting products according to customer requirements.
- Operate an electric pallet jack and/or forklift to move products throughout the warehouse.
- Organize and palletize product to build customer orders, ensuring stability and proper stacking for safe transport.
- Constantly bend and twist while operating equipment, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
- Frequently reach up to 72 inches to access products from various shelf heights.
- Frequently lift product that weighs 10 to 75 pounds, and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Work in very extreme temperatures, including cooler and freezer areas, dressed appropriately for the environment.
- Work on your feet for 10 to 12 hours daily, maintaining energy and focus throughout your shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
- Maintain a safe working environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 0 to 1 year of relevant work experience required.
- Frequently lift product that weighs 10 to 75 pounds, and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
- Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
- Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
- Work on your feet for 10 to 12 hours daily.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Requirements:
- 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
- 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
- 1 year of Selection Experience.
- 2 years of consistent work history preferred.
