Key Responsibilities
- Feed and Tend Animals: Perform daily feeding and care for poultry, ensuring they have access to fresh feed and water.
- Disinfect Pens, Barns, and Poultry Houses: Maintain clean and sanitary conditions by regularly disinfecting facilities to prevent disease.
- Clean Stables, Barns, Barnyards, and Pens: Keep all animal living areas clean, dry, and comfortable.
- Ensure Farm Safety and Bio-Security Procedures Are Followed: Adhere to all safety and bio-security protocols to protect the flock and the team.
- Monitor Animal Health: Keep an eye on the flock for any signs of illness or distress and report concerns to management.
- Perform General Farm Duties: Assist with other tasks as needed to support overall farm operations, including maintenance and upkeep of equipment and facilities.
Work Environment
- Indoor and Outdoor Work: Work in barns, poultry houses, and outdoor areas as needed.
