Key Responsibilities
- Community Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with local communities affected by construction projects.
- District Council Engagement: Liaise with district councils, attend meetings, and manage communications to ensure smooth project acceptance and support.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the point of contact for community inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
- Project Support: Work with project teams to anticipate community impacts and develop mitigation strategies.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Crisis Communication: Assist in managing communication during sensitive situations or project disputes.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Communication, Marketing, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years’ relevant working experience in the construction industry.
- Community Relations: Experience in community relations and dealing with District Councils is essential.
- Computer Skills: Well-versed in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Chinese word processing.
- Language Skills: Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
