Welders and Boilermakers Need In Australia

Port Adelaide Construction is looking for experienced Boilermakers and Welders to join our team in Largs Bay and on site projects across South Australia. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Workshop fabrication and welding: You’ll undertake a range of boilermaking tasks in our well-equipped workshop, including fabrication, welding, repair, and maintenance of tanks, pipework, and structural steel.
  • Reading engineering drawings: You’ll interpret drawings and specifications to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Site work and shutdowns: When opportunities arise for shutdown work and site projects, you’ll be part of the team handling those jobs.
  • Working with quality equipment: Our workshop is set up for proper fabrication work you’ll have the tools you need to do the job right.

What We’re Looking For

  • Trade qualification in Boilermaking we need qualified tradespeople who know their stuff.
  • 2nd class welders with solid experience are also welcome to apply.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Workshop Boilermaker and/or Shutdown Boilermaker, preferably in construction or manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of boilermaking techniques, welding procedures, and fabrication methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work orders.
  • EWP, confined space, and dogmen tickets are highly regarded but not essential if you’ve got them, make sure we know.
  • Australian work rights are required for this position.

This role is based in Largs Bay, with site projects across South Australia. You’ll have the variety of workshop work combined with opportunities to get out on site when shutdowns and projects come up.
