Key Responsibilities
- Treat guest laundry and in-house linen and garments with utmost care and attention to detail.
- Maintain quality control for all guest and associates’ laundry and dry cleaning, ensuring every item meets our high standards.
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, including washing machines, dryers, and pressing machines.
- Sort, fold, and package linens and garments according to hotel procedures.
- Inspect items for damage, stains, or defects, and take appropriate action.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all health and safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking linen usage and reporting shortages.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to support the smooth operation of the department.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a laundry attendant is preferred.
- Basic laundering and pressing skills are essential.
- Priority will be given to those who have taken relevant courses or hold certifications in laundry operations.
- Good customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and reliability.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
