About Lotty’s Professional Painting

We’re a tight-knit team of six painters who have been with us for over five years, and we’re proud of that. Lotty’s Professional Painting is known for quality, professionalism, and attention to detail in every home and business we work on. We believe in treating our customers’ spaces with respect and doing the job right the first time. As a growing company with consistent work and a strong customer base, we’re looking for someone reliable who wants to grow with us. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a crew or work alongside teammates on residential and light commercial painting projects.
  • Prepare surfaces thoroughly this means caulking, spackling, sanding, and handling basic drywall repairs.
  • Work cleanly and professionally in customers’ homes, showing respect for their space at all times.
  • Apply paint with precision, ensuring smooth, even coverage and clean lines.
  • Communicate with homeowners and business owners as needed, answering questions and addressing concerns.
  • Maintain a steady pace while keeping quality front and center.
  • Drive to job sites and arrive on time, ready to work.
  • If you have the bonus skills, you may also be asked to hang drywall, tape and spackle, or assist with carpentry tasks.

Qualifications

Required:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the residential or commercial painting industry. For crew leader roles, that experience should include leading a crew. For regular painter positions, you should have 3 years working within a crew.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong prep skills including caulking, spackling, sanding, and basic drywall repairs.
  • Ability to work cleanly, professionally, and respectfully in customers’ homes.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check. (Note: We don’t care about marijuana use, and old criminal charges—10+ years—are not an issue. Everyone has a past; honesty matters most.)

Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Helpful):

  • Experience hanging drywall, taping, and spackling.
  • Carpentry skills.
