Key Responsibilities
As a CDL-A Truck Driver for Dollar General’s private fleet, you will be entrusted with the safe and timely delivery of goods that keep our stores running. Your key duties will include:
- Operating a tractor-trailer combination safely and professionally on regional routes, ensuring timely deliveries to Dollar General stores.
- Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle and equipment, reporting any defects or issues immediately.
- Adhering to all federal and state Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, hours-of-service rules, and company safety policies without exception.
- Transporting freight securely, which may include loading and unloading assistance depending on the specific store and delivery requirements.

Qualifications
