Key Responsibilities
You will be the leader on the floor, responsible for both the craft and the culture. Your key duties will include:
- Overseeing all daily store operations, ensuring seamless service and upholding our high standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Leading, training, and mentoring a team of baristas, fostering a positive, motivated, and skilled workforce.
- Mastering and demonstrating expert coffee preparation, from espresso extraction to milk texturing and beverage construction.
- Developing and introducing creative new drinks and seasonal menu items to engage our customers.
- Managing inventory, placing orders, and controlling stock levels to minimize waste and optimize costs.
- Driving sales through exceptional service, strategic upselling, and engaging store promotions.
- Handling hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance reviews for your team.
- Ensuring strict adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and company policy standards.
Qualifications
We are looking for a leader who brings both skill and soul to the role. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Barista, Shift Lead, or Manager in a specialty coffee or fast-paced café environment.
- Deep, practical knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, equipment, and beverage standards.
- Strong foundational skills in inventory management, cash handling, and basic operations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and build a cohesive team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A strong network within the coffee or hospitality industry is a significant asset.
- A genuine passion for coffee, hospitality, and creating a welcoming environment for all.
