Key Responsibilities
You will play a key role in ensuring our production lines operate efficiently and safely. Your daily duties will include:
- Performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of production machinery and equipment.
- Conducting start-up procedures and tests on equipment after completing maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
- Working closely with production supervisors and operators to provide technical support and help achieve daily production targets.
- Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance work, inspections, and parts usage.
- Strictly adhering to all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
- Utilizing various hand tools, power tools, and machine shop equipment to complete tasks effectively.
Qualifications
We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual with the following qualifications:
- A mechanical diploma or certificate is preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will be seriously considered.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
- Proficiency with common hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Must be able to work in varied environmental conditions, including cold, noisy, and refrigerated areas.
