Key Responsibilities
As an apprentice, you will be an integral part of our hands-on learning process. Your key duties will include
- Assisting our experienced carpenters with all aspects of residential carpentry, including framing, renovations, decking, and detailed fit-outs.
- Learning to accurately measure, cut, and assemble materials according to plans and specifications under supervision.
- Helping with the installation of doors, windows, skirting boards, and staircases.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times, adhering strictly to site safety protocols.
- Effectively communicating with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Loading and unloading materials and helping to keep tools and worksites tidy.
Qualifications
We are looking for an apprentice with the right attitude and foundation. You will need:
- A genuine passion for carpentry and a keen desire to build a skilled trade career.
- A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and excellent reliability.
- Good communication skills and a well-presented, professional demeanour.
- A valid driver’s licence and your own reliable transport (this is essential for getting to various job sites).
- A valid Construction White Card.
- No prior trade experience is required your eagerness to learn is what matters most.
