- Leading stock control efforts, including conducting regular stocktakes, managing inventory levels, and placing orders to keep our shelves and bar fully stocked.
- Supervising and providing guidance to Pro Shop Assistants, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Supporting the wider team at No.5 Café and Larder by coordinating drinks service and managing glassware as needed.
- Actively looking for ways to enhance our customers’ overall experience, from their round of golf to their post-game refreshments.
Qualifications
We value reliability, a great attitude, and practical skills. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:
- Solid experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within retail, hospitality, or a similar fast-paced environment.
- Proven skills in cash handling and stock management, with a strong sense of responsibility and accuracy.

- An organised and reliable approach to your work, with a natural focus on putting the customer first.
- Excellent communication skills, allowing you to connect with customers and collaborate with colleagues effortlessly.
- A current Duty Manager’s Certificate, or a demonstrated willingness to obtain one promptly.
While previous experience in the golf industry is a nice advantage, your customer service ethos and operational skills are what matter most to us.
